It’s bone-chillingly cold, but for once I’m grateful for it. It takes the heat out of my mood. No one in my entire life has made me feel as angry and irritated and turned on at the same time as this man.
“Who the hell does he think he is?” I mutter to myself like a crazy person. I can’t stand the type of people who make a judgment about you, based on nothing at all, then can’t wait to share it with you. It’s one of my pet hates. I reach the entrance to the subway and cling to the handrail, accustomed to the slippery mush at the top of the stairs.
“Reagan!” comes a deep, sexy voice from behind me. Adler’s striding toward me in an expensive-looking navy wool coat. He looks commanding, purposeful, and against my will, my body responds again. The world slows down as he comes up to me, puts his hands on my waist, and crushes his lips against mine. They’re so warm, his tongue so velvety and agile as it slides into my mouth. It’s a passionate, passionate kiss that leaves me dizzy.
“I shouldn’t have left without kissing you,” he says, keeping his face close to mine. And then he turns and carries right on, striding along the sidewalk. People are staring at me, girls in their twenties with naked envy plastered across their faces.

When Reagan moved into the city from her small town, she never expected to meet a man that would completely take her breath away.
Adler isn't a man that does relationship, so don't even ask. He likes to play and have fun, nothing more nothing less.
A chance encounter at a rather unconventional convention will bring this unlikely couple together.
Adler wants to teach Reagan everything she desires and everything she doesn't know she desires. Reagan wouldn't usually date a man like Adler but there is something about him that draws her in. So they enter into an agreement that will satisfy both their needs as long as feelings never get involved.
But what happens when Reagan starts to want something more? Will she be willing to risk her heart and start in this one-sided relationship? Will Adler walk away when he learns that Reagan wants more? Or will something happen that has never happened before... Alder fights to keep Reagan in his life no matter what?
Wow! Wow! Wow! His To Have is everything and nothing like I expected. It's witty, intense, passionate, and full of heart and soul.
I love Reagan and her spunky attitude. Her willingness despite her apprehension to enter into the relationship Adler offered was endearing. She's shy, scared, and has no knowledge about what she's about to undertake, but she takes the risk anyway.
Adler is handsome for sure, but it's what he's got inside that makes him sexy. He takes his play time seriously but he's always looking out for Reagan, her needs comes first. He's a man that doesn't open up with many people, but the way he does with Reagan is breathtaking. And when push comes to shove, he fights for Reagan and that makes him swoon worthy. But prepare yourself for when he whispers in your ear, because your ovaries will burst, your panties will melt, and your knees will become weak.
I really enjoyed this exciting book and couldn't put it down. The electricity that flows between Reagan and Adler is fierce. I loved watching Reagan mature in her journey of self-discovery. Adler is honest and loyal, and with he opens his heart he's courageous.
I would highly recommend His To Have if you like your read to have a little dark, a whole of fire, and full of heart that will leave you sated yet begging for more.
