Cole was not the sort of guy who put his arm around a woman or held her hand. He couldn’t believe the idea had even occurred to him.

He pushed that thought aside. “Where do you work?”

She’d asked him about his job the other day but hadn’t offered anything about herself. He wanted to have some idea of what she did. Add to the picture Rick had painted of her.

“In Ridgewood,” she said. “At AJ’s Diner.”

He could think of other questions to ask. Are you a cook? A waitress? How long have you been there? Do you like it? But he didn’t bother.

When they reached the driveway to their house, she winked at him.

“Come with me.” She wrapped one hand around his wrist and led him to her door.

Excitement pumped through his veins. Before he could form a coherent thought, her lips met his. She pushed him against the door, one hand gripping his shoulder. Her mouth was warm and needy; she kissed him like she couldn’t get enough. Like he was a cold glass of water or lemonade on a hot day, exactly what she needed.

Cole responded. Of course he did. He wrapped his arms around her and moved his lips against hers, wanting to swallow up her little sighs. Wanting to devour her. There was one form of human interaction he liked, and this was it.

His brain emptied. All he could focus on was the sweet pressure of her body against his.

He slid one hand down to her ass and pressed her closer. His dick rested between her thighs, and she rubbed herself against him as she nibbled her way down his throat.

God, yes, that was good.

If she were undressed right now, he knew he’d feel her moisture on his skin. Knew he’d slip easily inside her, and she would feel amazing.

Lila Monroe continues to delight her readers with the hilariously stunning Lovestruck. This book is everything we have come to expect from Lila and then some. It grabs the readers right from the start with it's incredible storyline, witty banter, a swoon worthy hero, and strong independent heroine.

Ruby walked away from her college crush after a rather embarrassing event several years ago. So as she dashes off to catch her plane the last person she expected to run into is her long last crush. He still takes her breath away, but the pain is still there.

Will is on his way to his resort to attend to his friend's wedding while attending to business at the same time. To his surprise he runs into his long lost friend, one that he's missed and wants to reconnect with.

The connection between the two is undeniable. The sparks that fly are intense and electrifying not just those around then but to the reader as well. But just as this couple is getting hot and heavy a misunderstanding threatens to break them apart. Will they be able to work through their issues to continue their newfound relationship? Or will this be an issue that breaks them irrevocably?

I seriously can't get enough from Lila Monroe. Her writing style is fun and engaging, captivating the reader from cover to cover. Lovestruck is hot, flirty, scintillating, and dazzling. The dynamic between Ruby and Will is mesmerizing and their passion is off the charts. They give as good as they get and boy do they know how to heat things up.

I adored every minute of Lovestruck and can't recommend it enough. It will have to laughing out loud, crying, falling in love, and leave you satisfied and smiling in the end. This is one book you will be happy to stay up all night to finish despite having to get up early the next day.

I point to the guy behind the glass. “You want Peter’s number?”

“I don’t know. Do you think he likes piňa coladas and making love in the rain?”

For a flash second, a burst of wildfire curls through my veins. It feels like white-hot jealousy. Which is ridiculous since she’s not making love to Peter.

Or me, for that matter, obviously.

I fight off the envy with a full dose of sarcasm. “Have you ever noticed you never have a good pair of headphones when you need them?”

She huffs. “Message received. I’ll just shut up and read a book.” She reaches for her phone on the seat, but accidentally knocks it to the floor of the car. I lean down to pick it up, and when I hand it to her I see her playlist.

I smirk. That’s too fucking adorable. “You like bubblegum pop?”

I don’t know what comes over me, but I’m pretty damn sure it’s the way this girl needles me. It’s her French maid routine. It’s her pushing all my buttons. It’s the way she detests me.

I hold her phone behind my head.

I feign surprise. “Oh, did you want your phone back, tiger?”
