New Release ~ Love On Show by E.D. Parr

Thank you for inviting me to your blog with new release MM romance

Love on Show

I loved writing this story. I’d had the idea in my head for nearly a year, but life got in the way of my writing for a while there. When I finally wrote the story, it flowed onto the computer because I knew Caer and Justin so well.

Their love story is hot and heart wrenching. There are places in the story I wanted to shock because life throws wildcards at everyone now and then. I also wanted the guys to love each other deeply.

Justin hides a fun-loving trait until the end of the story when I hope readers will see how much he loves Caer.

July 18 release from Evernight Publishing, A Romance on the Go
Romantic, erotic, surprising

Fall in love with Caer Rossi and Justin Harper

Dishy Justin Harper plays gay bad boy, Brandon in a TV show that’s fast becoming a cult classic, but Justin hides the fact he’s gay in real life. When a new actor is cast to play his TV show love interest, Justin can’t deny the raging attraction he feels for gorgeous Caer Rossi.

Caer Rossi makes it clear he thinks Justin is smoking hot. He can’t wait for the kissing scenes, and they sizzle, but underneath the performance for the TV show, a deep, loving passion builds between the two men.

Something has to give, but what and who will it be when a journalist threatens to ruin Justin’s perfectly crafted public persona?

The story is gay romance, explicit MM sex in the love scenes, a shock, a make up, and fun HEA.

Excerpt

He followed Justin out of the room and down the corridor into what looked like a wardrobe room. Rails of clothes lined one wall and baskets of accessories and other items dotted the floor space.

Justin stopped walking and turned abruptly.

Caer reared back to avoid bumping into him.

“We’ll take my car into the village and get something to eat, but first I’d like to explain.” The actor’s voice held sincerity. His eyes held a plea.

“Explain?”

“Yeah … I couldn’t go through with the kiss until I’d let you know what to expect. I, er, I like to kiss for real. It just doesn’t look right on camera kissing someone on the chin or missing their lips any way you can. You know … there’s no passion in it … what do you think? Will it be okay?”

Justin’s fabulous blue-gray eyes searched Caer’s face.

“I can do that. Sure.” Caer softened his voice. He gazed at Justin’s mouth. “Show me. Kiss me.” You are adorable. I know you want to fuck me bad.

Relief entered Justin’s expression. He leaned toward Caer. His eyes closed.

Caer met him. The kiss sent waves of pleasure through Caer. His stomach clenched. He lifted his arms and held Justin. The gentle merge of lips on lips teased him and he slipped a palm along Justin’s jaw, prolonging the kiss, soaking up the sexy feel of stubble rasping on his skin.

Justin drew away. He gazed at Caer. “Hell, that was some kiss.”

Book Blast & Giveaway ~ Soul of Discretion by Susan Mac Nicol & M. Tasia

Soul of Discretion
by Susan Mac Nicol & M. Tasia
Genre: M/M Romance

Can You Keep A Secret

Simon Bridgeworth believes in loyalty, and keeping things in-house. When he discovers his best friend, who has been running the Canadian division of Simon's tech empire, has been skimming millions from the company, Simon flies to Toronto to get to the bottom of the theft and learns his friend has been murdered. Devastated and at a loose end, Simon knows there's no way the company's problems can be kept under wraps now. Imagine his surprise when he learns the Mountie investigating the murder is the first repeat Simon has allowed himself in years.

Sergeant Nick Cooper is a proud member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police. He's served his country in the military, and now he's protecting the citizenry of Toronto. But devotion to duty is no longer enough. On a whim, Nick hooks up with Aristocrat69 on crUIzer, and what started as one night of incredible sex turns into an attraction neither man can ignore. When a grisly mob murder sends Nick to the Breakforce corporation, he is shocked to discover his lover is none other than its CEO. When Simon's life is threatened, ethical lines blur as Nick does anything to keep him safe - no cost is too high for the man who has become Nick's everything.

Excerpt

Pushing himself up into the sitting position, Nick prepared to get up and go to the bathroom when Simon grabbed his arm. “Where are you going?”

Nick pulled back, shocked by the question but he answered, anyway. “I’m getting cleaned up to go.”

“No.”

No? What the hell? “You don’t want me to get cleaned? Come on man, you can’t be serious. I’ll only take a minute.” Nick’s anger rose. He hadn’t pegged Simon as an asshole but obviously, he might have been wrong.

Simon sat up and took Nick’s hands. “No, I meant I would like it if you stayed. We can have a drink, maybe order in food. Have you eaten?”

Nick couldn’t stop himself from staring at his lover for a moment, but he quickly recovered. “Sure, I’d like that.” He honestly would.

“I’ll clean up and leave a robe in the bathroom for you to use if you’d like.” Simon said before kissing Nick and walking to the bathroom naked, making Nick’s cock twitch. “Easy there, we need a breather between rounds.”

Simon came out of the bathroom wearing the same yoga pants he had on the first time they’d hooked up. The ones that highlighted that perfect ass of his. “All yours, Nick.”

“Thanks. Do you mind if I take a quick shower?” It’d give him the extra time to try to work out what the hell was going on with Simon.

“Yes, go right ahead. I’ll pour us a drink and then we can look over the room service menu.” Simon replied acting as if this was perfectly natural to him. Nick didn’t think it was.

“If that’s what you want.” Nick answered, still unsure of the situation.

Simon picked up on this and walked over to stand in front of him. “I realize I’m behaving oddly compared to last night. I’ve been thinking, and if you’re agreeable, I propose that we spend our free moments together while I’m in town. We get on well and even you must admit, we’re sexually compatible.”

Nick thought about it, he wanted to see Simon again. “How long are you expected to stay in Toronto?”

“At the moment it appears I won’t be able to conclude my business in Canada for at least a couple weeks.”

Well, no one ever accused him of being stupid. Weeks of the best sex of his life with a man he finds irresistible. Where did he sign up? Nick would likely regret this when it ended, but until then he planned to enjoy this to the fullest.

“Okay, deal. While you’re in town, we’ll see each other.”

“And no one else. If you’re with me at night, I don’t want to share you with any other men. I’ll do the same.”

Nick had never been one to date multiple men at the same time, even if this wasn’t really considered dating. But if Simon needed to hear it, Nick had no problem with that. “I agree, no other men.”

Simon flashed a smile that must have men falling to their knees all over England. “Now get showered so we can order dinner.” Nick smiled back before heading into the bathroom still shocked by the turn of events.

Book Blast & Giveaway ~ Restoring His Howl, Sanctuary #10, by Megan Slayer

Restoring His Howl
by Megan Slayer
Genre: Contemporary Paranormal LGBT Romance

Opposites can attract, but can they make the love last?

Dillon came to the Sanctuary to hide, but also to heal. He’d been abused and needed a safe place to come into his own. He never expected to find a partner, but love came looking for him. Can he accept what he deserves or will he push away a chance at forever because he feels unlovable?

Cinders knows from the moment he sees Dillon that he wants the wolf shifter for his own. But can a jaguar shifter and a wolf shifter really pair up? He doesn’t know, but he’s banking on the attraction to pay off. What he doesn’t expect is how deep Dillon’s scars run. Is he strong enough to see beyond what’s happened to Dillon and help create a future for them together?

Anything’s possible when the jaguar shifter, a former stripper, and the wolf shifter figure out how to restore his howl.
Excerpt

He spotted a black form moving in the grass. He hunched down and studied the animal. A jaguar. He should know the big cat by sight but didn’t know which shifter it was. The more the jaguar moved, the more Dillon watched. He couldn’t help himself. The black feline moved with grace and seemed to be showing off. The jaguar mesmerized Dillon. He’d seen plenty of big cats and knew there were at least two other jaguars on the property. Fifteen lions, four tigers, three jaguars, a bobcat shifter and six humans were currently at the Sanctuary—but he only knew a couple of them.

Something stirred within Dillon. Longing? Desire? A little bit of both? He didn’t think he could be loved because of the damage to his body and soul, but he wanted someone to care for him. To care about him. To see beyond his past and accept him. Was that even possible? Once others learned what he’d done and how often, they’d run the hell away from him and for good reason. He hadn’t been in control of himself, but did that matter? Maybe not, but he wanted a mate, and he had to hope they’d be able to give him a chance.

Mate… He snorted. Another wolf would be the best option, so why was he watching the jaguar? The wolf should be in charge and finding another wolf. Did the wolf crave the jaguar? Maybe. His human side definitely wanted the big cat. Well, no… The human side wanted to meet the human within the jaguar.

Christ. No, he couldn’t meet the shifter. What was he thinking? Not only would he wreck the fantasy, but he’d have to let in the person. Closeness meant the possibility of being hurt or abandoned. Hell, no.

“Aren’t you a pretty boy?”

He froze. He’d forgotten about watching the jaguar the moment he’d gotten wrapped up in his mind. The big cat was nowhere in sight. Shit, shit, shit. He knew the voice, though. Cinders. Of course, the jaguar was the stripper. How had he not figured that out? Because he hadn’t been paying attention. He was now.

Book Blast & Giveaway ~ His Valentine by Megan Slayer

His Valentine
by Megan Slayer
Genre: Contemporary Romance (LGBT)

Brandon Kidd thought he overcame his demons. He thought he’d conquered his addiction to booze and his need to be promiscuous. He thought he’d left his depression behind. Why? He met and is dating Aydin, the man who stokes his muse. But the depression and his insecurity have come back, and he’s also got to pass his annual review for his fine arts program. He’s got to get through the grueling review, open up to Aydin and have the Valentine’s Day he deserves?

Aydin loves Brandon. He sees the changes in his boyfriend and wants to help, but how do you help when you don’t know the problem exactly? To compound the problem, Brandon’s brother, Benson, has started causing trouble. Benson doesn’t want his brother to be gay, let alone in a relationship. Aydin found the strength to admit he wanted to be with Brandon. Aydin’s come into his own. Will he be enough for Brandon or will the crushing outside influence be too much to overcome?

They’ve come together for Valentine’s Day, but can the romance last?

Excerpt

Aydin sighed. Instead of focusing on the things he couldn’t change, he centered his attention on dinner. He pulled the ziti from the oven, then once it cooled enough to handle, plated a serving each for him and Brandon. He glanced over at the living room and Brandon on the couch. Until he’d opened up to Brandon, he hadn’t thought he’d fall in love. Geeky guys who cared more about lighting and special effects weren’t the ones who got the hot men. But he’d landed Brandon. If love was possible, then he wanted to fall head over heels with Brandon. Maybe he already had. He wouldn’t have posed for anyone else. He poured two glasses of sparkling cider.

Brandon appeared in the doorway. “Want help?”

“I do.” He paused. “So…do you want to talk about whatever is eating you?”

Brandon picked up the plates. “I noticed the rose on the coffee table.”

“Good dodge.” He scooped up the forks, napkins, and cider glasses. “I know it’s not exciting, but it’s kind of chick-y. I though you could use the rose for a drawing or two after tonight.” He shrugged. “Happy Valentine’s Day.”

“Happy Valentine’s Day.” Brandon hurried into the bathroom. “I’ll be right back.”

Aydin sank onto the sofa. Brandon wasn’t kidding—relationships were hard. More so when one partner wouldn’t talk to the other. He busied himself with arranging the plates on the coffee table. The rose did look striking between the bowls. He wasn’t a connoisseur of flowers, but he liked the fragrance of the rose.

“Are you okay?” Aydin asked. “Do I need to rescue you?”

“I’m good.”

Aydin slid onto the floor and rested his elbows on the coffee table. He wished he were good, too. Maybe he just needed to be patient. Brandon would explain what was wrong, and they could tackle the issue together. A man could hope, right?

If he can’t write, he can go back to his roots and sort through the items his newly deceased uncle left behind. Once in Sullavan, Ohio, he realizes just how much he loved the place. He wants to be with Tristan, but he’s too shy. A handsome man like Tristan wouldn’t be interested in a quiet man like Michael…would he?

Excerpt

Tristan remained beside Michael as they walked to the diner. He could get used to being with Michael. He’d only been in town for twenty-four hours and he couldn’t fathom not having Michael in his life. As friends? Absolutely. As lovers? If he had his way, then yes. He admired the different buildings along the route.

Many of the storefronts bore art deco influence. He stopped in front of an abandoned former appliance store. “What happened here?”

“It went under. People wanted cheaper prices.” Michael shrugged. “I think it would make a great store for something else.” He cupped his hands against the glass and peered through the window. “It’s got a second floor and a lot of the neon still works.”

“Yeah?” He shielded his eyes and peeked through the glass. Sure enough, he noticed the second floor and the raised areas of the first floor. “Has anyone tried to resurrect it?”

“No.” Michael strode away from the building.

Sadness settled deep in Tristan’s bones. Where he lived in New York, shops sprang up and collapsed yearly. A few went the distance, but most didn’t. He missed the fun of record shopping for vinyl and second-hand books at another store. He saw so much potential in Sullavan, but he also understood the reality of keeping a business alive. He paused.

The characters spoke to him. One of them wanted to keep a struggling business going. One that was started by the father of the lawyer, but was now that he was ready for retirement. Tristan nodded. He’d have to jot that notation down once they got to the diner.

“Are you okay?” Michael stopped. “Tristan?”

Hearing his name on Michael’s lips shouldn’t have turned him on, but it did. His nerve endings sizzled and his heartbeat sped up. He longed to touch Michael again. The stolen moments back at the park weren’t enough. He’d gotten an erection just from sitting beside him.

“Well?” Michael frowned. “What’s up?”

“I had a piece of the story fall into place and am trying to remember it.” He hurried up to Michael and fell back into step with him. “I’ll write it down when we get a table.”

But diving into a relationship can't be so simple. Being together means Trevor risking the last link he has to his son...leaving Jesse to wonder if he'll ever be enough, or if Trevor will always be haunted by the past.

Amazon

Excerpt

Jesse headed inside, amused at the sight of Trevor making himself at home by brewing some coffee. His brown hair was flattened on one side, sticking up on the other, and he had a red crease in his cheek from where it’d been pressing against his hand.

Trevor was wearing an old pair of jeans that hung loosely on his thin frame, and a T-shirt with the sleeves pushed up to his elbows. His hands were long-fingered and graceful, and Jesse noticed with a jolt that he was wearing Riley’s watch, the oversize face almost swallowing his slender wrist.

The memory of Trevor stroking his tattoo a few hours ago sent another wave of inappropriate desire surging through him, and Jesse gulped. Jesus, get a grip! I’m his son’s friend! He won’t ever see me as anything but a kid.

And why should he? Besides Trevor being older, and way more experienced, he was dealing with a ton of emotional baggage, not the least of which, his recent breakup with the man he’d intended to marry, for fuck’s sake.

Get a grip, asshole. Seriously. He’s way out of your league and the last thing he needs is some stupid kid mooning over him. What he needs is a friend.

Book Blitz & Giveaway ~ First Impressions by Jay Hogan

First Impressions
by Jay Hogan
Genre: M/M Romance

Michael

Two years ago I made a mistake, a big one, and then I threw in another couple just for good measure. I screwed up my life big time but I made it through. I was lucky.

Then I was given the opportunity for a fresh start. Two years in Auckland, NZ, ‘The City of Sails’. Away from the LA gossip, a chance to breathe, to get my life back together.
I grabbed it and packed my new set of golden rules with me.

I don’t do relationships.
I don’t do commitment.
I don’t do white picket fences.

And I especially don’t do arrogant, holier-than-thou, smoking hot K9 officers who walk into my ER and rock my world.

Josh

The only thing I know for certain about Dr. Michael Oliver is the guy is an arrogant, untrustworthy player, and I’d barely survived the last one of those in my life.  Once was more than enough.
The man might be gorgeous but my eleven-year-old daughter takes number one priority and I won’t risk her being hurt, again. I’m a solo dad, a K9 cop and a son to pain in the ass, bigoted parents.

I don’t have time for games.
I don’t have time for taking chances.
I don’t have time for more complications in my life.

And I sure as hell don’t have time for the infuriating Dr. Michael Oliver, however damn sexy he is.

Excerpt

The young officer behind Josh attempted to block the man’s escape only to have the knife sweep up and slice his defensive arm from wrist to shoulder. The intruder then threw him against the wall with a sickening crack and the officer slid to the floor, a spray of bright red blood arcing up against the cream paint.

Arterial. Shit. Michael instinctively surged from under the table toward the injured officer but stopped short when he realized his movement had drawn the intruder’s attention. They locked eyes, staring at each other for no more than a few seconds before the knifeman lurched toward him. Michael stumbled back against the wall just as the shepherd erupted from the corridor to his right and hurled himself at the knife once again. The guy’s arm spun in a wide arc toward the airborne animal, sending it careening into the bar. The act granted the man enough time to make it out the front door before the dog scrambled to its feet in pursuit.

“Paris!” the handler shouted as he caught sight of his colleague sprawled in a pool of blood on the floor, but the dog was gone. “Damn.” He spoke urgently into his radio then fell to his knees alongside the young officer. A commotion from the other side of the emergency exit broke in waves through the bar but the handler ignored it, focused solely on his injured colleague and putting pressure on the pumping wound as he shook the young man’s shoulder. “Jackson!”

In seconds, Michael was on his knees alongside the handler, dimly aware of the other man’s heat as their thighs pressed together. The wound was pumping big. “Move,” he ordered the man without thinking, only realizing his mistake too late.
