“Autumn.” He infused the warning with his Dom Voice, and it sent shivers of desire straight to my core.

“Oh, Sir. I’m already on my knees.” Picking a lock. I left that part off because he knew exactly what I was doing. It took a lot of effort, but I concentrated on the soft metallic sounds of the tumblers locking into place.

“If I was there right now, I’d spank you for being a smartass.”

Oh, but that man knew exactly what to say to make my pussy wet. As a sometimes-SAM, I needed to run off at the mouth while he put me in my place. When the stress of life got to me, I would call him names and goad him as he spanked or flogged me. “Are you in my office yet?”

This was even better. I preferred to have him in control, and he was letting me get away with entirely too much right now. I set to work wrestling out of the cute green dress he’d surprised me with last weekend. He liked me to wear colors that matched my green eyes, and I found myself choosing clothing and accessories with his tastes in mind.

As if he read my mind, he cleared his throat. “I’m going to punish you when I get home, Sugar. You know better than to try to manipulate me.”

“Sir, I wouldn’t be me if I didn’t at least try, and then you would fall out of love with me.” Yeah, my convoluted logic was one of the things he found attractive. Or so I hoped.

He laughed, the sexy vocal caress washing over my nerves and urging them into submission. “Perish the thought. Are you in position?”

I bent over and rested my bare chest on his cold desk. “Yes, Sir. My nipples are hard, and my pussy is wet. Are you naked also?”

Whether you've read Re/Leased or not, you will be able to follow this story as a standalone.

Treasure Me focuses on Autumn settling into a life in Kansas City with David, her lover and her Dom. She's in a new job, coming to terms with her past, getting to know her long lost family, and finding out who she is. It's not an easy path, but with David and Jessica by her side, she slowly becomes the woman she always wanted to be.

I really enjoyed this thrilling roller coaster ride and the passion contained between the pages is electric. I loved David's sincere attempts to help Autumn come to terms with everything that she has learned over the past several months. His love for her really knows no bounds.

Autumn, or Brea as she is called in the end, makes some mistakes along the way to self discovery that not only puts her life in danger but those she loves as well. I love how she doesn't back down to anything, right or wrong, when she makes a commitment she's all in. I fell in love with her heart and soul.

The love between David and Autumn is undeniable and no matter what either do, there is nothing that can tear them apart. And believe, there is a lot that could be the catalyst to break them.

I really enjoyed this story, getting to know Brea, Autumn, more after Re/Leased is sensational and I adore David. I also loved the other members of the SAFE Security team and can't wait to see what is going to happen next in this series.

David regarded Autumn regretfully. “I didn’t bring ropes. Maybe next time.”

“Here.” Jordan appeared out of nowhere. He handed a coil to David. “You can use mine. Amy’s not one for public play. Yet.”

Autumn fingered the rope. The silk caressed her back. “I’m game if you are.” David didn’t respond, so she lifted her arms. “It’s okay if this is your first time. Everybody’s a virgin once.”

“It’s been a while.” David untied the knot holding the coil together. “You’re going to need to be patient.”

She encouraged with a smile. “I’ve got all evening.”

Jordan took a few steps back to give them privacy. David worked quietly and with methodical meticulousness.

Autumn mostly watched his face, but her gaze was repeatedly drawn to the way his shoulders and arms moved. Muscles bunched and elongated, and the deeper he concentrated, the more he sucked the corner of his upper lip. Autumn was tempted to offer to suck it for him. Instead she chose to say something innocuous. “You’re cute when you’re concentrating.”

He glanced up, surprised, and his knot-weaving fingers stuttered.

She raised her eyebrows. “Let me guess—nobody’s ever told you that you were cute before?”

“You’re not at all what I expected.”

“You wanted a leggy blonde with huge fake boobs?”

He exhaled a laugh. “No.”

“Botox lips and cherry red lipstick?”

“Hell, no. I just didn’t think you’d be so forward.”

“Ahh.” She sighed knowingly. “I’m not demure, and that’s a turn off.”

“Not at all. It’s refreshing. I like that you’re lighthearted and that you feel free to tease and flirt. I’m having fun, and I didn’t think I would.” He went back to looping rope.

Review

This was my first book by Michele and I must confess that I rather enjoyed it. Although not having not read any of the previous book in the series, I was still able to follow along with the story and characters. 

David Eastridge is a man honoring a promise, that in of itself makes him a hero in my book. Autumn is doing what she has to to care for her sister. A woman that provides for her family at all cost, is a woman that I can relate to.

Circumstances bring these two together and their world is forever changed. Intrigue and mystery surround them, but through it all they fall in love. They have an awe inspiring dynamic and sizzle right off the pages. I also love the twists and turns, making it hard to figure out what will happen next.

This is a stimulating read that will allure the reader from start to finish.
