Lainie slid off the end of the bed and kneeled quietly, looking down toward the ground. She took her right hand and pulled her ponytail up, so her hair was no longer laying against her neck.

Dani has quickly become a favorite of mine and just couldn't wait to Mastering Her Heart. I loved Pike right from the start. He didn't mess around with other women once he knew the one his heart belonged to. Even when he didn't think he would ever be able to have her, he stated true to her. And when he did finally get her, he will move heaven and earth to keep her protected, happy, and loved.

Willow wants a life that doesn't involve relying on her mother or mother's name. She's changed her last name, works her butt off in a thankless job, and spends as much times as possible with the one person who's always been there for her. I love that even though she was young when he came into her life, she's always loved him. Even though she was hurt when he left, she can't deny her feelings for him.

And talk about hotness! The passion is super explosive, so be warned, you will need a ice cold shower after you finish Mastering Her Heart.
