Playlist
for Writing
First of all, thanks so much for having me on your blog today!!
Mine is
probably not the typical playlist because I don’t listen to music when I write. I also don’t have different lists specific to
each piece I write.
My
little niche as I guess we can call it, is movies. When I need to be in the zone, I put in a DVD. I don’t always watch the movies, in fact I
hardly ever watch anymore, but they are familiar background noise and great
inspiration. They just give me the feeling I need to put me in the zone to
write.
Where I sit to do my writing and other work is
at the dining room table which is in an open area connected to my living room
and kitchen. The TV is directly in front
of where I sit (I do that on purpose).
Now I actually have two different playlists I usually stick with
depending on my mood for the day. I do
mushy romanticy happy-ending movies most of the time which is a good background
because I write romance so I’ll share that one today.
