Delaney Fraser is working hard to fulfill her promise to her father while also trying to find a way to get over her past. The last thing she wants or needs is someone like Shane Hawthorne turning her world upside down.
Shane Hawthorne isn't the man many think he is, but the past he's running from seems to always threaten to come knocking on his door. But one look into Delaney's eyes and his life in irrevocably changed.
Both have secrets that could destroy their lives and those around them, but as everyone knows, secrets have a way of coming out in the end.
Will they be able to stand together as the world learns of their deceit? Or will this be something neither can overcome?
Rock King is an exciting, intriguing, passionate read that will captive the reader from start to finish.
Delaney is stronger than she appears or feels. Her heart is what leads her and why she stands by Shane even when he tries to push her away. I love how she always wants to do the right thing even if it means her freedom is in jeopardy.
Shane had many vices in the past, but I admire his strength to stay on the right path. He's need to protect Delaney is endearing to say the least. I love that he's rough around the edges but has a big heart even if he doesn't show it all the time.
The passion between Delaney and Shane is off the charts hot. It's starts strong and only grows stronger the more they get to know each other.
I loved Rock King with it's entertaining storyline, flawed but charming hero, a marred but alluring heroine, and an intense passion that will overheat the reader and ereaders alike.
This is one thrilling read that I would highly recommend anyone looking for a book that will leave you with a rocking book hangover.
