If you've been waiting to read one of Ella's most popular books now would be a great time.
The Weekend Proposition is on SALE for .99 cents.
This sexy, romantic love story has 50 fantastic reviews.
It became a fast favorite with readers.
One weekend—no strings, no expectations, and no commitments. On Sunday afternoon it all ends, or does it?
No-nonsense businessman Spencer Cannon has a dilemma. He's headed to Connecticut for the weekend to attend his cousin's elaborate wedding. His whole family will be there in addition to his obsessed ex-girlfriend Ava. According to Spencer's brother, Ava has been telling her friends she's planning a magical reunion with her favorite ex-boyfriend. Spencer's not in the mood to deal with her, but he can't miss the wedding. He needs a plan.
Struggling Brooklyn waitress and aspiring graphic designer Dakota Vercelli has fallen on hard times. College debts, pending eviction, and her sick mother are taking a toll on her. A chance encounter with Mr. Cannon, CEO of Cannon and Carrington Advertising, leads to a proposition that may be just the thing to solve both of their problems. Spencer's offer—spend four days with him during the wedding festivities and keep his ex off his trail. In return, he'll compensate her generously for her time. He needs a weekend girlfriend, and Dakota needs the cash.
It was just supposed to be a business deal, but after sharing a room, kissing under the stars, and attending a wedding, their attraction is undeniable. Will the illusion end when the weekend is over or is the proposition just the beginning?

Q&A with Spencer Cannon
I convinced Spencer to sit down and answer some questions to commemorate the sale of The Weekend Proposition. I hope you enjoy it as much I did.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First off, thank you for agreeing to this interview. I know how much you dislike things like this.
Spencer: You are more than welcome, my dear. You know I can I never say no to you. Besides, sitting here on the couch with you is always an enjoyable experience for me.
Always the charmer! We have had lots of fun over these last 16 months.
I'll say. I think one of the best things to come out of all this is watching you get utterly possessive over me.
Guilty as charged! It's just, I know how great you are and therefore, I'm unwilling to share! I do try to confine it to the Team Ella group page, they seem to let me get away with it.
For the record, I am forever entertained by your jealousy. You are just too cute for words.
Thanks, I'll be here all week. How about we get this interview started?
Only because I do love you, let's get started!
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
First question, what annoys you most?
Brody Callahan! I mean, seriously? The readers love me more, but he's Ella's favorite?
Yes, we all know how Ella feels; get over it. Now, will you please answer the question.
Commercials. Commercials annoy me.
Oh dear. I know that's not true since you are in advertising.
Okay, okay. Stop glaring at me like that, you know you can't stay mad at me.
True, but can we get back to topic at hand so we can go do something fun!
Oh I like the sound of that! Hmm... I would have to say fake people annoy me. You know, the ones that are nice to your face, but stab you in the back the minute you turn around. Someone that pretends to have your best interest at heart, but really doesn't. I really don't have time for people like that. Luckily I have several around me that I can trust.
What is your most treasured possession?
Coda!
Other than Coda.
You!
Boy, you're on a roll today! So, other than myself and Coda?
I would have to say my father's music. I enjoy his classic collection, but I treasure those pieces he wrote himself. Playing those makes me feel like he's still here.
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
Skip.
No, you can't skip it.
Yes I can. The readers must believe I'm perfect and it will not due to have them perceive that I may have some minor defect.
It's not a defect and we all have things we would want change about ourselves. Anyway, you are far from prefect, my love.
Fine, have it you're way. Wait, what do you mean I'm not perfect?
No one is perfect.
I think you are.
Thank you, but I'm not.
Well, to me you are.
And this is why I love you so. Now let's back to the subject at hand.
Yes ma'am. Happy now?
Yes, very.
If I had to change one thing, not that I would mind you, would be...
Your stubbornness?
Look who's talking... The Queen of Stubbornness.
Let's move on to the next question, I see this will lead to nothing but trouble.
Yes, let's.
Do you think Ella portrayed you accurately?
No!
What? Why not?
Simple, if she had, then I would be her favorite.
Oh dear, let's not go there.... again!
You asked.
Okay, other than not being her favorite, do you think she portrayed you accurately?
Well, other than that sore subject, I would say yes. It got you to fall in love with me, so I'd say she did a spectacular job.
I would have to agree; she did a pretty great at capturing you.
Awe shucks, thanks Sugar.
Now that is laying it on thick!
If you could have lived in another decade which would it have been?
I'm pretty happy with where I am now. I've got the company, family, friends, Coda and you. What more could a guy ask for?
Perfect answer.
What no commentary?
Not when you say the right thing.
So noted.
What were the last three books you read?
I plead the fifth.
Huh? Why?
I may or may not have snagged your kindle when you weren't looking. But in my defense, you have some of the best books on there. Seriously, some of those are even released yet.
Likely story, I'm sure. So, what exactly did you, hypothetically, read?
Hypothetically speaking, I would have read Ella's Sliding Into Second because I had to check out the competition.
I did enjoy that one; Nic is pretty enchanting if you ask me.
Not that I would ask, but overall, I guess he's okay.
Just okay?
Must we really have a discussion about him? It's bad enough I saw your facial expressions while you read it, and let's just say I wasn't pleased.
But Nic is just so yummy. What's not to love?
Moving on... I, hypothetically, read Confessions of a Chocoholic by London Saint James, which to truly decadent and I now know why you bought all that chocolate.
I just adore London, wait until you read her new one.
Oh the one based Peter Pan?
That's the one, Rise of the Lost Prince. Although what I am really looking forward to is the one about Ryker!
I must move this conversation away from the Cage Brothers before I start to suspect you like them better than the Cannon Brothers.
Like that would ever happen. I have you reminding me, daily, how great the Cannon Brothers are.
Guilty as charged, but you love it.
Yes, yes I do. So, what is the third book?
I may have delved into the Submission Series by Roxy Sloane.
Are you telling me you got to know Cam?
Let's just say, my admiration of Roxy just grew.
Another words, you liked this series?
Heck Yeah! Those were very tantalizing to say the least.
Those are all very good books you chose to hypothetically read. You do know that I could get in trouble for letting you read books that aren't released yet. I think some sort of punishment is in order for you snooping.
Whoa, let's not get hasty here. Besides, we all know that you are the one that likes spankings.
How about we finish this conversation after this interview?
I see that gleam in your eyes, so yes, let's finish this topic later.
How about a couple of fun questions now. What is your favorite color?
Pink!
Very funny.
You mean to tell me that pink isn't my favorite color?
Yes, that's exactly what I am saying.
But have you seen the amount of pink we have in this house?
Of course I have.
So if pink isn't my favorite color, then why is there just so much pink round?
You know darn well that pink is MY favorite color and it's not all over the house.
Ohhhh..... that explains it.
You're lucky your cute.
Thank you. Thank you very much.
So, please tell your fans YOUR favorite color.
Since you put it that way, green. And before you ask, there is no reason why. I just like it.
Okay, then what is your favorite scent?
Pure Tiffany
Talk about random. Why?
It's what you wear.
Seriously?
You don't wear that?
I do. What I mean, is that seriously your favorite.
Yes. Why? I'll go smell it when I'm stressed and/or having a bad day and it just puts me in a happy place. It reminds me how lucky I am to have you in my life.
You really do amaze me sometimes.
Right back at ya Babe.
What is your favorite item of clothing?
Let's not go there.
Why not?
My answer is not appropriate.
Oh?
How about I show you later when we finish our conversation from before?
Show and tell? Deal on!
Let's make this the last one.
Perfect.
It's a serious one.
Hit me.
If you had the power to change one thing in the world, what would it be?
I would...
Wait, let me put a stipulation on that... It cannot have anything to do with Brody or Something More.
Why?
A - We've already established your resentment at Brody being Ella's favorite. B - I'm ready to go finish that other conversation!
Great points, especially that last one.
So with that in mind, what is the one thing you would change?
Can I do two things?
If you must.
Indeed, I must.
Then let's have it.
First thing I would like to change is finally having a cure for MS, multiple sclerosis. Coda's mom is such a vibrate woman and having to watch her deteriorate is heartbreaking. She is good for now, but some days are harder than others.
Second thing?
Second thing I would like to change would be never having Alzheimer's disease exist. Having to watch someone you love forget you and ultimately giving up their will to live, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemy. Standing by your side while this disease takes those you love makes me feel useless; I don't like it. The best I feel I can do for you is holding you while you cry.
I can't fault you for either.
Well now that you've made me cry, I think it's time to end this interview.
Sounds good to me, but you know, I didn't purposely set out to make you cry.
Yes, I know.
How about any last parting words?
Buy my book! I want to thank all those that have already purchased my book, I cannot express my eternal gratitude. If you haven't, then what are you waiting for? It's a steal this month, so run, don't walk, and pick it up today.
Anything else?
Buy my brother's book, The Weekend Surprise. You'll thank me later.
Always the sales man. Is that all?
One more. I'd like to thank Ella Jade. She brought my story to life and for that, I'm forever appreciative.
Yes, I can never thank her enough.
She can also make me her favorite, I wouldn't mind.
I'm sure you wouldn't, but don't push your luck.
A guy can dream can't he.
And on that note, thank you Spencer. It's been fun!
Yes it has. Now let's go finish our other conversation in the bedroom!
And that, as they say, is all folks!
No, you can't skip it.
Yes I can. The readers must believe I'm perfect and it will not due to have them perceive that I may have some minor defect.

Ahh, Liz! I love this. And the new teasers (which I'm totally stealing). Thanks so much for loving Spencer as much as you do ;)
ReplyDeleteThanks Ella!! I'm glad you liked our interview, Spencer and I really did it enjoy it.
DeleteI happy you like the new teasers. I wanted them to be a surprise for the sale, so I hadn't shared them you. You are always free to steal.
