I’m over this year, and I’m over relationships. I’ve
learned that the only person you can count on in life is yourself. Moving
forward, I’m living for me. Working toward standing on my own two feet,
that’s my goal. Funny how meeting him changed my path.
It’s been years since I’ve been back in this small town of
West Virginia for more than a day or two. Spending time here brings back
a lot of fond memories. When I stopped by an old friend’s bar, I was
expecting to grab a drink and catch up. What I didn’t expect was her.
We share an undeniable attraction, but we continue to fight
it.
Until one night in Vegas changes everything.

Review
Saylor Keller hasn't felt like she belongs anywhere due to her constant moving around growing up. The only family she felt she had recently passed away, her long-term boyfriend just left her, and she's just quit her job. Life seems to be falling apart around her, but an unexpected meeting will change her life in more ways than one.
Rhett Baxter has worked hard and played even harder, but lately he's feeling like there's something missing in his life. When he gets news about his grandfather's illness and he's need to take over the family business for him seems like this could exactly what he's been looking for.
Their meeting was less than stellar but their attraction can't be denied. The more they try to fight the sexual tension, the more it continues to grow. And when the damn breaks, their spark ignites a fire that will encompasses them completely.
Saylor built walls around her heart many years ago that have never even been chip. Can Rhett find a way to bring those walls down and give Saylor the life she's always dreamed about but never thought she'd actually have? Or will Saylor never let those walls fall and push away Rhett forever?
Hey, Whiskey is a lovely, witty, sizzling read that captivates the read right from the start and keeps them until the sensational end.
I love how Rhett and Saylor's relationship is a slow burn and they get to know each other better. And when the tension combust, boy does it get hot, hot, hot.
I really admired all the characters embrace Saylor as their own right from the start. Saylor wants to be leery, but she opens up to them and slowly begins to see how much they love her and care about her.
I always love picking up a Kaylee Ryan book because I know I'll have a wonderful book hangover after read it. Hey, Whiskey is everything I wanted in an Kaylee book with it's emotional journey, heartfelt storyline, and relatable characters.
If you're looking for a read that's full of heart, soul, hope, friendship, and love, then I highly recommend you pick up Hey, Whiskey today. Rhett will take care of you and leave you very happy and extremely satisfied.
