I'm sure what I expected from this book from reading the blurb, but what I got was more than just a way to pass a few hours.
The journey Mackenzie goes on after her diagnosis is incredible and pulls at your heartstrings. Her attitude and perseverance is remarkable. I really love her list of things to accomplish was full of the little things that many take for granted. She's a simple girl with simple dreams and I really connect with her.
I love how Connor embraces his feelings for Mackenzie even after he learns her secret. How he rather enjoy the time he has with her instead of walking away is endearing. His love is true and pure, and he'd move heaven and earth for her.
The love and passion that encompasses Connor and Mackenzie radiates off the pages. And even when the end does comes, you know that their love will live on well into the future.
This is one read that will touch the reader's heart and soul. It's a story that will stay with you long after you've finished it.
