Hallie is a spitfire that can't be diminished no matter what life throws at her. I love she takes things and stride and then tries to find to make things work. Even when shown the nicer things in life when she meets Max, it's the little things that make her heart soar.
Max is everything you could want in a Lila Monroe book boyfriend. Sure he's tall, dark, and handsome, but he's also loyal, kind, friendly, and honest. He could have easily been just as money hungry as the rest of his family, but he's actually very down to earth. And when he needs to makes the grand jester to win the heart of the woman he loves... the man pulls out all the stops.
Just be warned, you will need a cold shower, several new panties, and a soft cushion to land on when your knees give out by the time you finish with Very Irresistible Playboy.
I always enjoy very second of a Lila Monroe read and Very Irresistible Playboy is everything I expected and more. And I for one can't wait to see what she'll bring up next.
