Torrid is kinky, intense, slight depraved book that draws you right from the start. The connection between Vasilije and Oksana is powerful and sultry. The game they are playing is dangerous yet highly addictive.
You would expect Oksana is weak but is exactly the opposite and I love that about her. Vasilije may appear to be cold and distant, but there is more to him that what you see.
Torrid may not be a hearts and flowers romance, but Vasilije and Oksana still achieve their own special romance. The story line is erotic and well written. The hero and heroine are both storng and can stand up for themselves. And the sexiness is hot, hot, hot. Therefore if you are searching for a dark, emotional, provocative read then Torrid is for you.
About the Author
Nikki Sloane landed in graphic design after her careers as a waitress, a screenwriter, and a ballroom dance instructor fell through. For eight years she worked for a design firm in that extremely tall, black, and tiered building in Chicago that went through an unfortunate name change during her time there. Now she lives in Kentucky and manages a team of graphic artists. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America, is married with two sons, writes dirty books, and couldn’t be any happier.
